South Windsor Public Schools believes that all children have a fundamental right to an education appropriate to their needs. The district is committed to providing educational programs and services that will support meaningful educational progress for each student. The South Windsor Special Services Department encompasses a continuum of specialized services which support the social, emotional, academic, and physical needs of youth ages three through twenty-two with various exceptionalities. We are committed to early intervention strategies within least restrictive environments in order to support the diverse needs of our learners. As a department, we strive to empower students to utilize skills to self-advocate as they become independent learners and integrate into the regular education curriculum and community at large.
