The South Windsor Public Schools K-12 Science program empowers all students to become scientifically literate citizens, prepared to engage in informed public discourse, critically evaluate scientific information, and pursue STEM-related careers. Through a guaranteed and viable curriculum, aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), students will develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts through inquiry-based learning, experimentation, and problem-solving. Our program fosters critical thinking, technological literacy, and engineering design skills, integrating STEM principles to cultivate a lifelong love of learning and equip students to address the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
